Yesterday Infiniti unveiled an all-new QX60 SUV, conceived to provide families with a vehicle capable and classy enough to complete transport tasks with ease. Completely redesigned on the inside and out, the exterior sports an origami-inspired mesh grille along with distinct daytime lighting signatures, while the interior can be had with quilted semi-aniline leather and contrast piping, coupled with open-pore wood and ambient lighting.

All QX60s get a 295-horsepower V-6 engine with front-wheel-drive with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive optional. Also coming on all QX60s is an InTouch infotainment system with a 12.3-inch display that is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A welcome feature for young families is the ability of the second-row seats to tilt and slide forward for third-row access even when child safety seats are installed. Comfort is a major focus, with “Zero Gravity” seats in the front that are designed to reduce pressure on the hips. Rear Automatic Braking, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, and Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection are standard with all trim levels.

Notable options include climate-controlled front seats, front seat massagers, and Plasmacluster ionization for help remove odors and allergens. Opting for the Autograph trim level provides captains’ chairs in the center. Up to 7 USB charging ports can be had on the QX60. Customers who want that additional assistance in traffic will appreciate the updated ProPILOT Assist with Navi Link, which utilizes the navigation system to help slow the QX60 for sharp bends or off-ramps. Furthermore, ProPILOT can brake and steer the QX60 as well as make things easier for drivers in stop-and-go traffic. Other available features are a full-color 10.8-inch head-up display, a Smart Rear View Mirror, and a Bose Performance Series 17-speaker sound system.

Slated to go on sale later this year, the QX60 should provide premium 3-row SUV shoppers with something that will almost certainly stand out in numerous family-oriented environments. With many new features that put it on par with vehicles from competing brands, the all-QX60 will likely not be a family vehicle worth overlooking when looking for something to carry people in style and comfort.
