The Genesis G70 has been received very well in the premium compact sedan segment, having won the North American Car of the Year award in 2019. For the 2022 model year, the vaunted G70 has been redesigned and an all-new 10.25-inch multimedia display as well as a plethora of safety features become standard. However, the G70 still retains its much-praised driving dynamics and remains a distinctive presence among the competition.

There are still two engines to pick from: a turbocharged 4-cylinder with 252 horsepower and a twin-turbocharged V-6 making 365 horsepower. All-wheel-drive is available as an option with both engines. Notably, a manual transmission is no longer available with the 4-cylinder engine. In keeping with the new Genesis design theme, the G70 gets a crest-shaped grille along with 2 lines of quad-LED lamps in the back. A variable exhaust valve system and Sport+ drive mode are available with certain trim levels.

Ownership benefits include complimentary scheduled maintenance with Service Valet, Genesis Connected Services, and navigation map updates all for 3 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first, highlighting the premium ownership experience that comes with the Genesis brand. With the new design, we think more premium compact sedan shoppers will be putting the G70 on their list once they see it rolling down the highway.
