2022 Honda Civic Preview
This week, Honda released the first images of the 2022 Civic on Twitch, best known for streaming online video game play. Shown in a new color, Striking Flare Pearl, the redesigned Civic aims to make the popular vehicle more sporty and upscale. Set to release in late spring of 2021, the sedan bodystyle will launch first, followed by the hatchback, the performance-oriented Civic Si, and the dedicated-performance Type R.
According to Honda, the Civic is the most popular vehicle with Millennials, Gen Z, first-time new vehicle buyers and a growing population of multicultural customers. To enhance the Civic’s cachet even further, there’s a new chassis that’s tuned to be more fun-to-drive, an all-digital driver’s-side gauge cluster, a new 9-inch full-HD touchscreen infotainment system, and an upgraded Honda Sensing passive safety system.
We’re looking forward to getting a closer look at the 2022 Civic as well as an opportunity to slide behind the wheel. More powerful and fuel-efficient powertrains are expected and we anticipate customers are eager to learn more about those too. It’s very likely that the upcoming Civic will continue to be one of the top-selling vehicles in America.
