Jeep Compass
The Compass is Jeep’s compact SUV that has Jeep’s legendary and best-in-class 4x4 off-road capability, fuel-efficient powertrains, and a host of innovative safety and advanced technology offerings. There are eight models to choose from: base Sport, midrange Latitude, off-road-oriented Upland, street-optimized Sun & Wheel, style-oriented Altitude, high-end Limited, off-road-optimized Trailhawk, and top-end High Altitude. All models come with front-wheel-drive standard and all-wheel-drive optional except Trailhawk and Upland (which are all-wheel-drive only) as well as the front-wheel-drive-only Sun & Wheel. The sole engine is a 180-horsepower 4-cylinder. Customers have the choice of a 6-speed manual (Sport model only), 6-speed automatic (FWD Compasses), or 9-speed automatic transmission (AWD Compasses). For customers wanting serious off-road capability, the Trailhawk has an one-inch higher ride height, skid plates, and 17-inch off-road tires as well as the ability to ford up to 19 inches of water.
