Volvo XC40
The XC40 is the smallest SUV offered by Volvo. There are three grades of the XC40 to choose from: well-equipped Momentum, sport-oriented R-Design, and luxury-oriented Inscription. The XC40 has two powertrain choices. The first is the T4, which is front-wheel-drive only and has 187 horsepower. For those wanting more power and/or all-wheel-drive, they can choose the T5 powertrain with 248 horsepower. Furthermore, the XC40 is available through the ‘Care by Volvo’ subscription service, with buyers paying a monthly flat fee without having to worry about down payments, maintenance and insurance. The XC40 comes with Volvo’s City Safety system standard which includes pedestrian, cyclist, vehicle and large animal detection with emergency autobrake, oncoming lane mitigation, and a lane keeping aid. Stepping up to the R-Design adds navigation as well as 19-inch alloy wheels. Inscription grades get a panoramic moonroof and driftwood interior trim.
