Nissan Titan
The Titan is Nissan’s full-size pickup truck that seeks to appeal to a large swath of the market. Buyers can choose from two versions: the standard half-ton Titan, and the Titan xD, which is built on a reinforced frame and chassis for expanded towing and payload potential. Customers have three different cab choices: Single Cab with two doors and front manual split bench seat, King Cab with 2 small rear-hinged back doors, and Crew Cab with four full-size doors. There are six different trim levels to choose from: base S, midrange SV, off-road-oriented PRO-4X, well-equipped SL, and high-end Platinum Reserve. The standard powertrain is a 5.6-liter V-8 that generates 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Titan xD models are available with a turbocharged diesel 5-liter Cummins V-8 making 310 horsepower but 555 lb-ft of torque paired to a 6-speed automatic, making it suited to towing heavy loads as well as saving fuel. Novel features include the new 12-speaker Fender audio system, the Utili-track Bed Channel System, and the dual lockable in-bed "TITAN Box" storage boxes.
