Jeep Renegade
The Renegade, Jeep’s subcompact crossover, has received some major updates for 2019. It delivers a unique combination of best-in-class off-road capability, open-air freedom and convenience, as well as fuel-efficient powertrains. There are four models to choose from: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. The Sport and Latitude models come standard with a 180-horsepower 2.4-liter 4-cylinder while the Limited and Trailhawk come with a new turbocharged 1.3-liter 4-cylinder making 177 horsepower that increases fuel efficiency and reduces emissions. (The engine is optional on Sport and Latitude.) All models except the off-road-oriented Trailhawk are available with the choice of two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive. Those who plan to off-road extensively with their Renegade can choose the Trailhawk which has 8.7 inches of ground clearance, skid plates, up to 8.1 inches of wheel articulation, hill-descent control, and can ford up to 19 inches of water.
