Chevrolet Camaro
The Chevrolet Camaro sports car is known for its balance of driving fun, refinement and value. Customers can choose between coupe and convertible body styles as well as four different models: LS, LT, SS, and ZL1. (LT buyers can choose between 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT trims with increasing levels of features, while SS customers can choose between base 1SS and well-equipped 2SS trims.) As for engines, the LS and LT models come standard with a turbocharged 2-liter four-cylinder making 275 horsepower while LT buyers can specify an optional 335-horsepower 3.6-liter V-6. Going for the SS nets a 6.2-liter V-8 making 455 horsepower while the top-end high-performance ZL1 gets a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 putting out 650 horsepower. All Camaros are available with the choice of a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission (a 10-speed unit on V-8-powered cars and an 8-speed on LS and LT models). For track use, owners can specify the 1LE package, available only on manual-equipped cars.
